A small London suddenly appeared in the middle of Ginza.    

It's about Pop Up Great Shop organized by John Smedley, Penhaligon's, and Jake Dyson at John Smedley Ginza as the above photo which I took before.

Note vol.2 撮影終了！

昨年から継続されている「Note」シリーズのvol.2 を公演された髙橋淳さん、久井麻世さん。今回もまた違った視点からの構成、演出で楽しませてもらいました。

いつも新しいことが要求される昨今、音楽性とダンスという一つのテーマで作品を継続して発展させ、観客もその過程に立ち会える公演はなかなかないのでは。
2月の福岡公演を経て、次回の東京公演は4月16日の模様です！

ベルリンに引き続き、日本でも撮影に関わらせてもらいました、久井麻世さん、そして髙橋淳さんのソロ・デュオのダンス公演「Note」の再演が決定しました！

私は初演を拝見させて頂いたのですが、二人のソロはもちろん、特に日常を技巧的にユーモラスに切り取ったデュオの演目は必見です。会場もついつい長居したくなるような、とても居心地のよいギャラリーです。是非！

NPI Portfolio Competition at gallery le deco

 I participated in NPI Portfolio Competition at gallery le deco from 3rd to 8th Feb and won Hiroyoshi Yamazaki award.  Thank you for coming all the way to the exhibition. 

2月3〜8日までギャラリー・ルデコにて行われたNPI ポートフォリオ コンペティションにてHiroyoshi Yamazaki賞を頂きました。お忙しい中、お越し下さった皆さま、どうもありがとうございました。

このテーマはこれからも必然的に継続するだろうなと考えていて、時間を経るごとにまた違った様相を見せてくると思います。これからも引き続きどうぞよろしくお願いします。

Group show at the design festa gallery

I participated in a photography group exhibition at the design festa gallery from 11th to 13th July.  This was my first presentation in Japan after 6 years abroad.  Thank you for coming all the way to the exhibition.  I received lots of interesting opinions, will try to understand them and make the most of them for the next time.

7月11〜13日までデザインフェスタギャラリーにて行われたグループ写真展に、上記写真３点を展示致しました。お忙しい中、足を運んでくださった皆様、どうもありがとうございました。

作品は呼応する鏡のようですね。直接お話できた方、コメントを残して下さった方々の意見をゆっくり咀嚼し、次回に展開できたらと思っています。

また近い内にお会いできますように。

Extended Cracking Cobra

The exhibition Cracking Cobra was extended until 22nd September.  Please have a look at it when you visit around the Cobra museum.  

DE GIDS NUMMER 5

2 of my photos were published in DE GIDS NUMMER 5, 2013.  DE GIDS which means "the guide" in Dutch is the oldest monthly literary and general cultural magazine in the Netherlands and one of the oldest journals of this kind in the world.  

In this summer issue different themed stories were provided by 8 different authors above 50.
My 2 photos were included in two stories written by Oek de Jong.  The magazine will start selling at Atheneum Boekhandel in Amsterdam in around one week.  Please have a look at it.
