Groundmagazine #19 PHOTOGRAPHY &
Groundmagazine #19 PHOTOGRAPHY & is released now! The web magazine ♯19 is divided into 4 different themes: representation, time, space & place and fetish. We chose 1 reference artist and created images on each theme. Our 2 months are all in one (by the way, some of my works took around 2 years to make...). My image is on the cover (& p26, p42-43 and p96). Please check it out:)

Sky Mirror
My work "Sky mirror" will be exhibited from June 15th at Cobra museum. This work is created inspired by the elements of Shinkichi Tajiri's work "Karesansui (dry zen garden)".
I'm also planning to do a performance at 4:30pm on June 15th with other 2 exhibitors based on the theme "space in between" which is the main topic of our 7 months- research. Please visit and experience the works then!

Visit Shinkichi Tajiri's castle in Baarlo
I visited Shinkichi Tajiri's castle in Baarlo last Sunday. I didn't know
about him a lot, just knew that he was one of Cobra members before. But the more I knew about him, the more I realized how innovative and
conceptual he was about his approach to his work and medium.
Shinkichi is a really interesting person to know. Here's the part of the movie "Samurai in space" made by his friend, an Australian director Paul Cox. You can see his castle here. I heard from Giotta that Shinkichi allowed his grandson to pee to his cast sculpture outside.
Shinkichi took photos about most parts of Berlin wall while he lived in Berlin. Some of them are uploaded here. I heard the story that when he had an opening of his exhibition in Berlin, nobody appeared because the Berlin wall was fallen down on the day. What a lucky guy...
I'm making a work influenced by his work "Karesansui" (dry zen garden) at the moment. The work will be exhibited in the end of June at Cobra museum. I'll let you know when the schedule is fixed!
